Hemorrhagic cystitis (HC) caused by viral infections such as BK virus, cytomegalovirus, and/or adenovirus after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HCT) causes morbidity and mortality, affects quality of life, and poses a substantial burden to the health care system.
