Jean Poirier

Jean Poirier has been working in the pharmaceutical industry for over 15 years. He holds a BSc degree with a specialization in biology and is a Certara-certified NCA Analyst using Phoenix. Before joining the Certara team, he worked in the generic pharmaceutical industry as a laboratory analyst, technical writer, and as Quality Assurance Auditor.

Since joining Certara in 2008 as Technical Writer and then Quality Assurance Inspector, Jean has played an important role in maintaining the high quality of client deliverables while supporting Certara’s and the client’s regulatory needs.

A shift to his current position as Associate Scientist means that Jean can play a more active role in supporting clients’ needs. As an Associate Scientist, his duties include conducting and reviewing noncompartmental analysis (NCA) of clinical and non-clinical data, producing high-quality reports and supporting documentation, IVIVC analyses, literature review, and various data management responsibilities.

In his spare time, Jean enjoys motorcycling, scuba diving, boating, archery, martial arts, playing music, and travelling.
