Joy Yang

Dr. Joy Yang joined Certara in the fall of 2018. Dr. Yang has over 6 years of experience in PBPK, PopPK and PK/PD field. She has applied her strong modeling techniques to support drug development across a range of therapeutic areas including oncology, endocrinology, and cardiovascular disease. Her modeling expertise includes special population (e.g. pediatric), extrapolation from animals to humans, parent and metabolite drugs, large molecular drugs (e.g. monoclonal antibodies and gene therapy).
Dr. Yang received her PhD in Pharmaceutical Science from University of Toronto in 2018. She has a BSc in Pharmacology from the same university. She has authored or co-authored more than 15 abstracts/manuscripts in the field of PBPK and PK/PD.
