Milène Borges

Milène Borges has been working in the pharmaceutical and clinical research industry for over 10 years. She joined Certara in January 2011 as a Technical Writer and was promoted to Associate Scientist in Pharmacometrics in February 2012. Since then, she has been performing noncompartmental analyses (NCA), authoring of pharmacokinetic (PK) sections in Clinical StudyReport, Regulatory Modules, PK analysis plans and ADA summaries and creation of tables, figures and listings (TFL) and has expanded her skillset into R programming and TFL reporting. In addition, Milène has supported population PK modeling activities such as dataset construction using R. She was promoted to Scientist in April 2020, where she is responsible for developing work plans by planning and budgeting work associated with the requested PK or PK/PD analysis and subsequent reporting. She also provides internal training to associates.

Prior to joining Certara, Milène was a PK Scientist in the Clinical Pharmacology Services group at MDS Pharma Services, where she was involved in clinical studies performing NCA PK and PD analyses and report writing. She has worked in several therapeutic areas including oncology and infectious diseases. Before that, Milène worked as an Analyst in the Bioanalytical department of MDS Pharma Services where she was involved in Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) regulated analyses using LC/MS (Liquid Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry) detection systems.
